RETURN POLICY

At Design Quarters, we offer a highly-curated selection, with a large portion of our products shipping directly from Europe. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our selection. Sales are generally final and most products are not returnable and not refundable. However, we are able to accept returns on selected items, as messaged in the product description page of the website following the link Return policy.

For items that are returnable, as displayed in the product description page, the following conditions apply:

-       Non-Furniture, non-bulky, non-fragile items:

You can return non-furniture, non-bulky and non-fragile items (in their original, undamaged condition and packaging) within 14 days of receipt for a full refund only if the product is noted as returnable in the product description page of the website. You will be responsible for return Shipping charges. Please note that original shipping costs are not refundable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept items for return after 14 days.

-       Furniture, bulky and fragile items:

To return furniture and fragile items, please contact customer service at contact@designquarters.com within 48 hours of receipt. Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund and that you will be responsible for return shipping charges. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Only products noted as returnable in the product description page of the website may be returned.

We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely, so be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. However, furniture and bulky items are susceptible to damage during transit. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials to return your order if the outer carton has been worn.

Custom Orders:

Custom orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. You will have 24 hours from the time a custom order is placed to cancel it. After 24 hours, the order is considered a final sale and cannot be refunded.

Damaged Items:

We will gladly accept the return of any merchandise that may have been damaged during shipping or with manufacturer’s defect. If your item arrives damaged please take pictures and email us at contact@designquarters.com within 24 hours and we will provide further instructions. We will not consider requests with no image proof. If the shipping carton is visibly damaged from the outside, we ask that you refuse delivery with the shipping provider, and contact Design Quarters customer service at contact@designquarters.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Lost or stolen packages:

It is not our policy to replace lost or stolen packages. We require signatures on most of our shipments. We suggest you always have packages delivered to a secure location where someone will be able to receive the goods (office building, doorman building, ...).

How to Return Merchandise to Design Quarters:

To begin a return, please email us at contact@designquarters.com indicating your name and address, order number, number of the item being returned. Upon approval of your request, you will receive return instructions via email. You will be responsible for the arrangement and cost of return shipping. However, if you received a damaged or defective product, we will supply you with a pre-paid shipping label to mail your return or we will replace the damaged product.

Once we receive your merchandise and confirm it is in its original condition with original packaging and tags, we will issue your refund. Please note exchanges, credits, and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only; shipping charges are non-refundable. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws.
