The Klee Chair is a beautiful and eye-catching creation by designer Sebastian Herkner for French design brand COEDITION, part of the Klee collection. Organic details segment the parts of the Klee series, giving them character and precision. These tables and chairs are carefully designed for everyday life. Klee is an honest chair, with a distinctive twist, characteristic of the spirit of Coedition. Sebastian Herkner's wish was to design a robust chair that would be also sophisticated with organic details. Klee demonstrates a passion for craftsmanship. Inspired by a leaf, the seat of the chair is divided into three segments. Made of solid ash, with a fabric upholstered seat (optional). Its dimensions create a piece with classic proportions, designed for everyday use.

COEDITION is curating a collection of modern and creative French furniture from internationally acclaimed designers, with a focus on quality and know-how. The collections are made in Italy in state of the art factories. They are the result of exhaustive research, meticulous and diligent development and technical innovations. The products all share the characteristics of effortless sophistication. They are suitable for residential and commercial projects. Notable examples include the New Eiffel Tower chair designed for the Gustave Eiffel Pavilion and the Scala collection designed for the Rivea restaurant by Alain Ducasse in Las Vegas.

An unconditional love for traditional craftsmanship paired with a good feel for new technologies, a true flair for color, authentic materials and textures, an unadulterated curiosity for different cultures, for embracing and integrating them. “There is a sensitivity and identity to my work that emphasizes the function, the material and the detail. I transport and interpret characteristics from various contexts of society and culture and implement them in new artifacts. This character infuses the most everyday objects with respect and personality. In this manner, seemingly contrary things can experience esteem.“
