Overview

The Twiggy was designed by Marc Sadler for Foscarini.Twiggy's elastic and colorful graphics are an unmistakable sign in the space, an exemplary marriage between the designer's eclectic creativity and Foscarini's research in the field of materials and technologies. Suspended from a removable rod in composite material, flexible like a fishing rod, adjustable in height thanks to a counterweight system, Twiggy is a simple and brilliant idea, which has become an icon of Foscarini and rewarded with exceptional success both among the public and of criticism. The diffuser guarantees direct lighting in the area under the lamp and - thanks to the transparency of the upper protective disc - diffuses a warm lighting atmosphere.

Foscarini imagines, develops and produces decorative lamps: night and day, whether they’re on or off, they seduce, surprise and inspire. Foscarini lights are conceived as design objects that transform spaces: we bring beauty, we stir emotions. Since 1983, the company’s collaboration with international designers and mastery of lighting resulted in a long list of design icons integrated into domestic or collective environments globally.
