Overview
The Aplomb was designed by Lucidi e Peverer for Foscarini. The Aplomb is a suspension lamp that creates dircet and precise lighting on an underlying surface. Visible concrete is part of the expressive language of modern architecture and Foscarini, with the Aplomb, uses this material with a spirit and a technology that is entirely original. The lamp displays a light touch of extreme elegance and formal simplicity, which softens the massive solidity of the concrete by enhancing its polished and yet unrefined material aspect.
Foscarini imagines, develops and produces decorative lamps: night and day, whether they’re on or off, they seduce, surprise and inspire. Foscarini lights are conceived as design objects that transform spaces: we bring beauty, we stir emotions. Since 1983, the company’s collaboration with international designers and mastery of lighting resulted in a long list of design icons integrated into domestic or collective environments globally.
