The Reverse Table Lamp was designed in 2020 by Aleksandar Lazic for Audo Copenhagen. In his search for simple and clever lighting solutions Aleksandar Lazic looked to Italian marble furniture from the 1970s and the understated, but ever-present beauty of natural materials when creating the Reverse Lamp. Appearing to stem from the travertine base, soft light illuminates the space around the Reverse Lamp, creating a sense of cosyness. The conical travertine base is revealed in all its natural beauty, like a sculpture. The bronzed aluminium shade completes the lamp’s perfect balance. The contrast between the travertine stone and the bronzed aluminum gives the lamp its character. The play with light and shadow is intriguing. The light intensity of the dim-to-warm LED can be adjusted with the dimmer at the top of the shade. The Reverse Lamp will cast a warm light on a side table or a cabinet surface, making it an elegant addition to a contemporary interior design.
