Overview

The Nimbus Miror was created in 2019 by Copenhagen-based design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen for Danish design House Audo Copenhagen. The designers investigated how an entire frame could surround a mirror like it would a painting, but without distracting the eye from the reflection of the glass. The result is a refreshingly simple mirror, which, by its sheer size, defines the space with its
soothing and sophisticated round shape. Encompassed by a halo-like brass ring, held in place by decorative screws, the circular mirror adds to the sense of light and space in a room.

Audo Copenhagen is a Scandinavian design house, harnessing the skills of top designers and craftspeople in Scandinavia and around the world to create contemporary design that is clean, clever and natural. These principles culminate in an aesthetic called soft minimalism. Together with its Danish Modernist roots, this concept serves as a foundation for designers to unite heritage with a fresh vision for modern living, reimagining mid-century modern values.
