Overview
Rodolfo Dordoni is an italian architect, designer and artist whose name is on one of the most significant and famous Italian design projects, including Lumiere: a contemporary restyling of the classic bedside lamp, made in blown glass and die-cast metal, which has become one of the biggest successes in the Foscarini collection.
Foscarini imagines, develops and produces decorative lamps: night and day, whether they’re on or off, they seduce, surprise and inspire. Foscarini lights are conceived as design objects that transform spaces: we bring beauty, we stir emotions. Since 1983, the company’s collaboration with international designers and mastery of lighting resulted in a long list of design icons integrated into domestic or collective environments globally.
