Overview

The Phi collection, named for the letter of the Greek alphabet that represents the golden ratio is made up of tasting tools for coffee, tea and infusions. With their pure and fluid lines, these pieces are made from silver-plated brass, American walnut and glass. All metal components are fashioned and assembled by hand in Puiforcat workshops. The golden ratio seeks perfectly balanced proportions, and was a notion dear to Jean Puiforcat.
The timeless design of Phi was created by Normal Studio, where Jean-François Dingjian and Eloi Chafaï practice what they themselves call “Elementary Design”. Specifically, they seek out the perfect shape, the perfect proportions to accentuate use while underscoring the simplicity and elegance in the details.

Boasting exceptional savoir-faire, the House of Puiforcat offers pieces of its heritage while imagining the classics of tomorrow. Going beyond tableware, the House of Puiforcat dedicates its expertise to cultivating a complete silversmith’s Art de vivre around the art of fine taste and decoration. The Parisian silversmith Puiforcat is regarded as one of the legendary names in European silver craftsmanship.
