Overview

The Chirchik Lunch Plate was created by Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois for Tsé-Tsé. It is handmade in France in fine white porcelain following a traditional process. Carefully crafted, the plate is intentionally irregular. Its imperfection makes it unique. The pattern printed on the plate is inspired by traditional Uzbek bowls.

Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois are the founders and designers of Tsé-Tsé Associées, a French design brand specializing in lighting, tableware and home accessories. Through the years, they have become known for their fierce creative independence. Inspired by their travels, they like to play with colors and to create unexpected associations, always with a hint of humour. Some of their creations have become iconic, like the April Vase, which has become part of the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou National Museum of Modern Art.

Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois are the founders of French design brand Tsé & Tsé. They create prototypes in their workshop in the Bastille area of Paris. Every object requires special research to identify the best manufacturers, mostly in Europe. They look for noble materials and traditional know-how. They believe in quality and long-lasting objects. All their lamps, dishes, decorative objects are produced in small series. Each product is unique and the small imperfections inherent to this type of production are Tsé & Tsé’s signature. The sense of wonder with which they see everyday objects transpires through all their designs. Most of their creations have become iconic design products and several of them are displayed in museums around the world.
