Overview
The Silversmith 6 Knives Complete Block was designed by Gabriele Pezzini for Puiforcat. Gabriele Pezzini explored the kitchen of the great chef Pierre Gagnaire, meticulously observing the gestures of the chef and his teams. This encounter provided the inspiration for the Silversmith Collection, a collection of expert blades that combine cutting-edge technology and razor-sharp aesthetics. To fashion these specialized objects, the craftsmen of the House of Puiforcat make use of Evercut, a patented steel processing technology that guarantees a virtually eternal blade, thus eliminating the need for sharpening for years to come. The Silversmith collection contains a Chopping Knife, Paring Knife, Filetting Knife, Boning Knife, Slicing Knife, Bread Knife, a Complete 6 knives block, a Set of 2 Paring Knives in a box, a Steak Knife and a Set of 6 Steak Knives in a box.

Gabriele Pezzini
Gabriele Pezzini is an Italian designer, born in 1963, who graduated from the ISIA of Florence in Industrial Design. Gabriele Pezzini presents himself as a thinker who maintains a creative practice driven by the mind. This has pushed him frequently to new experimental research. He created many successful products in the 1990s, including the stackable chair Europa. Later he began focusing on research-based projects and became an expert in product and project theory. He was the Design director for French luxury brand Hermes until 2010 and is a consultant in design and innovation with extensive art direction experience for international companies.
