The Shade collection, inspired by magical moments in nature where colors blend and speak for themselves, is by Turkish designer Begüm Cana Özgür for Spanish brand Nanimarquina. This modern collection of exquisite simplicity reflects a complex technical process to achieve the density, regularity, and fluidity of the desired effect, an incredible and well-rounded diffusion of color. The Shade rugs are hand loomed Dhurrie rugs (a type of flat-woven rug) made of pure New Zealand wool.

The Shade rug collection is available in four ombré palettes (Palette 1 – from Turquoise to Eggplant, Palette 2 – from Russet to Klein Blue, Palette 3 – from Raspberry to Forest Green, and Palette 4 – from Gray to Brown) and four standard sizes (Medium, Large, XL and XXL). An outdoor version in 100% recycled PET was also added. These high-quality rugs are entirely handcrafted, which may result in slight variances in size. These rugs are hand-dyed and color tones may vary a little, which is part of their natural beauty. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may alter rug color tone and may even cause discoloring.

Nanimarquina was founded in 1987 by Nani Marquina and has been dedicated to innovation and quality ever since, blending contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship techniques.
