The Tres rug and Tres Stripes rug collection, a line designed by Nani Marquina, the founder of Spanish brand Nanimarquina, reflects Nanimarquina’s passion for craftsmanship by specifically paying tribute to the ancient craft of weaving. These timeless, traditional rugs will complement any interior and decorating style. With this collection, the desire is to return to the basics and to appreciate the beauty of the details with respect to tradition. The Tres rug is a traditional Indian flat-weave Dhurrie rug. Its unique quality lies in the production of three independent parts in which different fibers predominate. Pure wool, felt, and cotton are used to create each Tres rug. The different fibers create changes in tone and irregularities in the weave, bringing the Tres rug pattern to life while showcasing the weaving structure almost in a pedagogical style. As a result, each Tres rug is a stunning showpiece that will enhance any home.
The Tres and Tres Stripes rugs are available in seven color variations (Black, Blue, Sage, Ochre, Green, Chocolate and Pearl) and in four standard sizes (Medium, Large, XL and XXL). The Tres Stripes rug collection is available as a runner in all colors. These high-quality rugs are entirely handcrafted, which may result in slight variances in size. These rugs are hand-dyed and color tones may vary a little, which contributes to the beauty of the product. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may alter rug color tone and may even cause discoloring.
