The Mía rug collection, with its unique finishing process, is an exciting new creation by Nani Marquina, the founder of Spanish brand Nanimarquina. These modern, artisanal rugs are made to look worn and lived-in to resemble old favorites. The Mía rugs are artisanal flat-weave dhurrie rugs of pure New Zealand wool. A dhurrie is a flat-weave rug used traditionally in India. To create each Mía rug, three pieces that were individually dyed to get the desired worn-in look, are pieced together with a special finishing technique. Enhancing any room of a home, these rugs will look stunning used as a single piece or as a mix and match of two or more rugs. A Mía Pouf is also available, which will enhance the look and experience as well as offer additional seating.

The Mía rug collection is available in four colors (Stone, Navy, Brown, and Brick) and in two sizes (Medium and Large). Each Mía rug color is offered with its own finish. Mía Stone is offered with macramé fringes, Mía Navy with dashed stitching, Mía Brown with embroidered fringes, and Mía Brick with vertical fringes. This high-quality collection is entirely handcrafted, which may result in slight variances in size. These rugs are hand-dyed and each one has unique variances in color, which adds to the beauty of the finished product. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may alter the rug color tone and may even cause discoloring.
