Clip-on Lamp Cornet Wimple Shade, Porcelain

by Lévy & Prébois

In Stock

The Cornet Wimple Shade Clip-on Lamp was designed by Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, the founders of French Design brand Tsé&Tsé Associées. The shade, made of white porcelain, takes inspiration from the traditional cornet wimple of French nuns and is slightly translucent, creating a warm and cosy light. This lamp is handmade in Paris: the small imperfections inherent to the artisanal production process make each lamp unique and are the signature of the designers of Tsé&Tsé. Practical, with a 78" long black cord, the Cornet Wimple Shade Clip-on Lamp will bring the final touch to a casual chic decoration.

Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois are the founders and designers of Tsé-Tsé Associées, a French brand specializing in lighting, tableware and home accessories. They are known for their fierce creative independence. Playing with colors, creating unexpected associations with wit and humor, they have developed a delightful universe.

Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois are the founders of French design brand Tsé & Tsé. They create prototypes in their workshop in the Bastille area of Paris. Every object requires special research to identify the best manufacturers, mostly in Europe. They look for noble materials and traditional know-how. They believe in quality and long-lasting objects. All their lamps, dishes, decorative objects are produced in small series. Each product is unique and the small imperfections inherent to this type of production are Tsé & Tsé’s signature. The sense of wonder with which they see everyday objects transpires through all their designs. Most of their creations have become iconic design products and several of them are displayed in museums around the world.
