Overview

Bulb is a pendant light designed by Danish artist Sofie Refer in 2000 for &Tradition. With Bulb, Sofie Refer lit up the new millennium and a new classic was blown. The shape refers to the first electrical light bulbs by using thick transparent glass. Sofie Refer continues an elegant Nordic tradition, adding her own passion and femininity. The small irregularities in the mouth blown glass make each of the pendants one of a kind and add the story of the glass master’s personal efforts in changing sand, soda and chalk into a modern classic using a thousand year old method. The cord exists in black, red or clear to match any interior.

&Tradition reworks design icons from past masters and creates tomorrow’s classics in collaboration with contemporary designers, upholding the tenets of craftsmanship to produce furniture, lighting and accessories that meet modern needs for function, comfort and beauty.
