The Alba family of lamps was designed in 2017 by Mariana Pellegrino Soto for Oluce. Alba is inspired by a drop of water that is put to use in different ways, depending on the lamp model. References to the world of nature, with soft opaline shapes for the light are combined and contrasted with square lines in a satin brass finish to create Alba, a family of table, wall, floor and pendant lights with a strong visual impact.

In the wall models, the vertical version (in 2 sizes) has the water drop opal globe vertically fixed to the rose and is attached to a handle-like square-section tubular support. In the horizontal model the water drop rests on the square tubular extended arm that connects to the wall rose.

Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector still in operation today. Oluce lighting’s design aesthetic is crisp, linear, and decorative. A subtle, intellectual beauty that over the years has led the company to produce some of the more recognizable and admired iconic lighting in the world.
