The Tavla Oval Dining Table designed by POOL for Petite Friture in 2020 is a modern take on marquetry inspired by the graphic design of Persian backgammon tables and their wood inlays. The contrasted pattern on the tabletop comes from using two different colors on the walnut veneer. The table comes in a 78.7" length with two extension leaves for a maximum 118" length. All elements of the table are recyclable. Wood panels come from FSC certified wood with 0 formaldehyde, glue and lacquer are water-based, veneers are applied through cellulose pressing.
