Overview

The Harbour Column Dining Table is a new addition by Danish brand Audo Copenhagen, designed by Norm Architects. With its clean, light and versatile design, the table was originally designed for the Harbour Chair, but it also works beautifully with other seating types and styles. “We sought to create a column table that would solve the issue of blending in and standing out” says Norm Architects’ Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen. In other words, a design with a strong profile – yet the ability to work in harmony with surroundings of all styles.

The Harbour Table features a simple tabletop paired with a subtle yet sophisticated clover-shaped column profile. “We paired a simple top with a super elegant column profile that makes a statement – but quietly, with consideration for the entire space.” - Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen, Norm Architects. The Harbour Column Table meets every functional demand, while also pleasing the senses with its balanced, slim silhouette and tactility. It is available with round and rectangular tabletops, and in three heights. Each tabletop can be crafted in charcoal linoleum, black Oak Veneer, or off white marble. The clover-shaped column base is constructed in Steel and aluminum in a black powder coated finish.

Audo Copenhagen is a Danish brand dedicated to producing high quality designer furniture, lighting and accessories with a modern, crisp, Scandinavian look.

Norm Architects is a multidisciplinary studio focusing on residential architecture, commercial interiors and industrial design. Norm Architects was founded in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, later joined by Linda Korndal. The essence of Norm Architects’ work is found in the balance between richness and restraint, order and complexity. A simplicity that carries bigger ideas. Guided by the body and mind rather than by trends or technology, Norm Architects’ projects explore ideas that not only look good but that also feel good. Architecture becomes thoughtful, minimalism acquires softness and visual matter assumes haptic qualities. Their work is sharp and crisp and reflects their focus on quality, details, and durability. Situated on one of the oldest streets in Copenhagen, Denmark, they build on the traditions of Scandinavian design of timeless aesthetics, natural materials and upholding Modernist principles of restraint and refinement.
