Overview

The Feve Desk by ferm LIVING has an organic, delicate expression. As a reference to the distinctive shape, its name comes from the French word Fève, which means bean. The legs are carved into stretched elliptical shapes that emphasize the desk’s elegant, feminine silhouette and balance the design. The Feve Desk requires little space and can be used both as a desk, an entrance console or a make-up table. It is made of solid FSC™ certified European Walnut.

Based on a passion for authentic design and with responsibility at the heart of every choice, ferm LIVING creates honest products and calm environments, working with artisans around the world and fusing their Scandinavian mindset with global skills and traditions. ferm LIVING collections are defined by soft forms, rich textures and curious details that let you create composed atmospheres with a touch of the unexpected. From materials and processes to production and delivery, ferm LIVING is dedicated to build a sustainable future.

Trine Andersen is the founder and creative director of ferm LIVING. Andersen’s designs pay tribute to the classic, clean traditions of mid-century Scandinavian design, while adding a modern personal twist to the design and a commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. “Our biggest ambition is, and has always been, to inspire people to create the kind of space that makes them feel comfortable, that allows them to be themselves in their own home. A home, after all, is much more than a collection of beautiful objects – it’s the place where life happens. We will continue to put out inspiring, quality designs in honest materials, continue to take care of our house by investing in its upkeep – fostering long-term partnerships with our manufacturers and a company culture that promotes balance and transparency – and more than ever, continue and advance our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices that are kind to our planet.”
