Overview

The Fish & Fish seating and table collection was created by architect and designer Paola Navone for Belgian brand Serax. The decorative cushions complement the seating collection and come in two shapes (rectangular and square) and 3 colors/patterns (white/alba, stripe/gita, stripe/erba).

Serax Philosophy is to look for beauty everyday, “to bring the good things that make life worth living, the things that create a home that inspires happiness”, to offer products that have soul. Every collection is crafted traditionally.

Paola Navone

Paola Navone is an Italian architect, a product designer, an interior decorator and an art director. She graduated from the Turin Politecnico in 1973 in architecture. Between 1970 and 1980 she worked alongside Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass Jr. and Andrea Branzi in the Alchimia group, developing a productive and stimulating avant-garde production, which gained her, in 1983, the prestigious Osaka International Design Award. In her long and productive career, she has partnered with multiple international brands such as Armani Casa, Knoll International, Alessi, Molteni, Natuzzi, Roche Bobois and has been art director at Gervasoni since 1998. She was introduced to the renowned Design Hall of Fame by the Interior Design Magazine in 2014. For Belgian brand SERAX, Paola Navone has created the casual chic Fish & Fish collection. Fishes have been a source of inspiration for her for a long time: « I love them – they are my astrological sign and the logo of my agency ».
