Overview

The Unseen Collection, by Italian design duo Studiopepe for French design house Petite Friture, is a homage to the classic neon light using sustainable LED technology. Created as a set of modular curved LED-light tubes that seemingly float in space, the Unseen collection is demonstrating both technological mastery and design purity. The graphic lines of the lighting elements have been adapted to a range of wall and ceiling fixtures where each individual piece can be placed vertically or horizontally. The designer duo wanted " to preserve the idea that light is pure through the modern techniques we employ in our design." The LED light is contained in a silicone tube, itself contained in a polycarbonate tube for optimal light-scattering.

Petite Friture is a French design house working with emerging and well established designers to create unique long-lasting collections with a free spirit and a strong focus on sustainability.
