Overview

The WEEK-END collection is a full range of outdoor furniture designed by Studio BrichetZiegler for French design house Petite Friture. The design of the collection is modern and eye-catching with great attention paid to details and finishes. The play with horizontal and vertical slats creates a strong visual identity, and so does the distinctive range of colors. The aluminum slats are laser cut in one piece, eliminating the need for screws and welds. No sharp edges in this collection, the design is entirely smooth and light for maximum comfort.

Week-end is also designed to last, with durability and practicality in mind. 100% Aluminum, it presents zero risk of corrosion or rust, even by the seaside. The anti-UV epoxy textured powder coating guarantees long-lasting colors. The pieces of the collection are lightweight and easy to handle, yet robust (reinforced slats).

Petite Friture is a French design house working with emerging and well established designers to create unique long-lasting collections with a free spirit and a strong focus on sustainability.

Studio BrichetZiegler

Founded in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio BrichetZiegler proposes a transversal and open vision of design through a technical and poetic approach. With a deep understanding of know-how, they take a new look at materials and forms. For the past 10 years, the duo has been pursuing their creative conversation and forming an open think tank to interact without boundaries. Working on all scales, from craft to industry, their projects emerge from their encounters. They collaborate with furniture and lighting companies. Colorful, graphic and expressive, they draw evocative objects that highlight the material as well as its uses. In 2017, they were awarded the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris. Some of their products are part of the permanent collections of the Mobilier National and the CNAP.
