La Petite Table Lamp was designed by Quaglio Simonelli for Artemide. The lamp displays exquisite geometry, an archetypal lampshade balanced on a tilted stem. The designer wanted a lamp that walks on a wire, balancing between full and empty, with no symmetry in its design, but bringing a subtle harmony of elements disassembled, in equilibrium at the boundary between light and dark. The composition of simple forms combined with technologically advanced materials clearly conveys the essence of Artemide. The lightweight plastic lampshade contains two diffusers that produce a pleasant soft direct and indirect light. The lampshade connects with the angled aluminum stem with minimal support whereby the tilted stem is counterbalanced by the lampshade’s volume. La Petite is available in wall, table & floor models in white and black colors.
