Designer

Patrick Jouin is a French designer born in Nantes in 1967. He graduated from the ENSCI industrial design school in Paris in 1992. Jouin expresses his creativity in the realms of both industrial and luxury design. He has worked on extraordinary projects with the greatest names in the industry, including Puiforcat, Cassina, Kartell, Alessi, establishing himself firmly on the French and European design scenes. Few are able to evolve with the same ease and power as Patrick Jouin among the realms of furniture, industrial design and scenography. His career has already seen remarkable highpoints, including a solo exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in 2009 and winning the prestigious Italian Industrial Design award Compasso d’Oro, in 2011. Today, Patrick Jouin directs two design agencies: Patrick Jouin iD for industrial design and, as a joint endeavor with partner Sanjit Manku, the interior and architectural design firm Jouin Manku.
