The Bar Chair by Afteroom Studio was created in 2016 for Danish brand MENU. Afteroom’s inspiration came from an interest in forms, senses, proportions and materials, anchored in a minimalist culture. Comfortable, the Bar Chair provides a majestic posture. Their designers explain: “The rounded details such as the upholstered seat and flexible back support (...), contrast with the solid steel frame. We embraced the challenge of designing something minimalistic with clean lines, without in any way compromising comfort”.

The black Bar Chair structure is made of powder coated steel and wood and the seat is upholstered with high quality leather from premium leather specialist Sørensen. It comes in two upholstery color options: cognac (Dunes Cognac 21000) or black (Dunes Anthrazit 21003).
