The Afteroom Bar Stool is a new addition to the Afteroom Furniture series by Afteroom Studio for Danish brand MENU. Stockholm-based Taiwanese design team Afteroom was originally tasked with creating a chair that was both minimalist and comfortable, with a silhouette that was both sleek and instantly recognisable. The Afteroom Dining Chair, with its distinctively small backrest and swan-like swoop of the neck, hit the mark perfectly. Complementing the Afteroom Dining Chair, the Stool is the ultimate expression of the Bauhaus-inspired Afteroom series. It is a stool cut back to the absolute necessities, yet it still operates as an integral part of an overall space, adding strong, clean lines to any room. The stool is available in three heights—stool, counter stool, and bar stool—making it easy to slide up against a bar or keep in the home as small-space or additional seating.
